Bike Travel to Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennessee

Organizers of the Bonnaroo music festival in Tennessee are providing a new option for those who want to avoid the long lines of traffic when they travel to the music festival this year.

A new 60 mile overnight bike ride is being planned from Smyrna to Manchester, where riders will camp a couple of miles from the festival site and then either bike back or hitch a ride from the Roo Ride organizers. This eliminates the hassle of sitting in traffic jams for hours and arriving with an empty gas tank. Roo Ride organizers transport all of the bikers equipment for them, making it an even more convenient option. In addition, the event also supports local charities as twenty percent of the $125 fee will be donated to organizations like Ride for Reading, which promotes literacy and healthy living.
